About me
From a small Italian village to the global stage
Growing up in a small village in Northern Italy, public speaking felt like something reserved for politicians and CEOs—far from my reality. Yet years later, I found myself standing before senior government officials and diplomats from the U.S., the U.K., the European Union, and international organisations, delivering speeches with confidence and authority. It was a moment that made me realise just how powerful communication could be.
My career began in the legal sector, working with international clients in Milan. There, I learned the power of precise, persuasive communication in high-stakes negotiations. But I wanted more than just legal expertise—I wanted to shape conversations on a global scale.
That drive took me to Beijing, where I worked for the European Union Delegation to China, navigating complex cross-cultural dialogues. From there, I moved to Brussels, where I spent the last six years working with and around the European Institutions as a consultant and public affairs professional. In this context, I worked for an award-winning industry association and gained experience hosting, moderating, and speaking at more than 150 workshops, webinars, and in-person events in Europe and across the world.
To further hone my skills, I obtained a certification as a Public Speaking Trainer and Workshop Facilitator from the Transformation Academy (CPD Accredited), enhancing my ability to coach and empower others in effective communication.
At every step of my journey—Milan, Beijing, Brussels—I saw one thing remain constant: the ability to communicate effectively wasn’t just a skill, it was a superpower. It was the difference between being heard and being overlooked, between influencing change and being sidelined.
Why I founded the Global Voice Club?
I know what it’s like to step into a room full of native English speakers and feel that, despite my expertise, my voice isn’t as powerful as theirs. It wasn’t a lack of knowledge—it was the way I communicated. In today’s globalised world, clear, confident communication is no longer optional; it’s the key to being heard, respected, and remembered.
Yet, many highly skilled professionals and entrepreneurs struggle to make an impact in meetings, conferences, and online—not because they lack expertise, but because their communication holds them back. Meanwhile, most public speaking courses are designed by native English speakers, for native English speakers, overlooking the unique challenges that non-native professionals face.
I know these challenges because I’ve lived them. That’s why I’ve developed a tailored coaching approach designed for non-native English speakers—one that doesn’t just teach techniques but helps you develop your unique methodology to be able to step onto any stage, lead with authority, and make your voice count.
But I don’t want to stop at coaching. My vision for the Global Voice Club is to build a community of non-native English speakers who support each other, share experiences, and grow together. Public speaking isn’t just about technique—it’s about having a voice in the world, and I want to create a space where professionals from different backgrounds can connect, learn, and amplify their voices in a way that feels natural and empowering.
